| 課程目標 | Throughout the course, we will play improv games and team building exercises to create an open, fun and supportive environment for all. Over the 18 weeks, participants may write whatever they want: stories, letters, blog posts, poems, essays. We will also do collective writing and play writing and speaking games. Playing with English is the key. Having fun! Grammar and spelling are of secondary importance. “Mistakes” are great! Express your ideas and feelings! The technical aspects of writing will be gently addressed along the way. We will also read the work of writers of interest to the class. 1.課程並不會設定主題與特定方向，將由教師與學員共同討論想要學習或書寫的主題，可以是詩、故事、短文、信等。 2.書寫可以是集體寫作，也可以是個人的。 3.以「玩」英文的方式學習英文書寫，課程會有大量的即興遊戲活動，希望營造一個開放且相互支持的語言學習環境。 4.本課程為全英文。 |

| 第1堂 | Play is the thing
Introduction to workshop. And we get to know each other through improv exercises and open discussion. 1.課程介紹（含上課方式）。 2.認識彼此，說說自己想要學的「英文寫作」是什麼？為什麼？ |
| 第2堂 | Teamwork1
If students have ideas for writing projects, we will form teams of 3 to 4 persons each; discuss writing ideas and goals. These can be very simple— we will develop them together! Or we will play with collective writing games and exercises. 1.以小組方式進行（3-4人/組），共同討論書寫題材與預設目標，並且試著寫出來（不須在意單詞或文法的對錯）。 2.課程會以集體寫作方式進行。 |
| 第3堂 | Teamwork2
In their teams, participants read and then discuss what they wrote over the past week. The above work will be mixed with writing and performance games, some for the teams and some for the full class. 1.延續上週討論，各組討論上週所寫的內容進行修正討論。 2.教師設計「小遊戲」引導團隊練習。 |

In teams, reading and discussion of student work continues; instructor will select examples from student work for use in explaining grammar and usage issues. 各組分享書寫內容，教師依據各組書寫狀況，進行反饋。 從各組的書寫內容選擇範例：如文法、習慣用法等問題。 |

As above. participants can develop and begin new writing projects at any time… 學員討論新一輪的書寫題材與目標，此階段可以是個人或小組合作。 |
| 第7堂 | Show & Tell Students and instructor bring in work by other writers that they like; these are performed aloud and then discussed. Essays, stories, poems. Focus is on the content of the writing but instructor will also use this as opportunity for grammar and usage teaching. 1.學員與教師各自分享自己喜歡的作家與作品，可以是散文、一篇故事、詩。 2.針對分享的內容，教師協助引導從英文書寫角度一同討論書寫架構、文法與其他習慣用法。 |
| 第8堂 | Team work3 Teams resume reading of work-in-progress with discussion, questions, suggestions by teammates. Instructor circulates among the groups. 1.分組討論新一輪的書寫題材與目標，並且試著書寫出來（不須在意單詞或文法的對錯）。 2.教師必要時提供相關參考素材。 |
| 第9堂 | Halfway Show! Performances of writing in progress for the full group; class gives back their thoughts, reactions, questions, ideas… 1.各組報告正在撰寫的寫作題材。 2.各組間彼此提出想法、回饋與建議。 |
| 第10堂 | Team work4 We resume presentations of work in progress with discussion. As always, new improv and performance games will be part of the mix. 透過討論，重新思考各自想要學習的書寫目標，由教師提供協助引導。 |
| 第11堂 | Continue4 Participants can begin new writing projects at any time. 開始新的寫作項目（自由選擇，可以是個人也可以是集體創作）。 |
| 第12堂 | Continue5 We will continue to work in teams, sometimes switching up team composition if this might be helpful. 原則仍以分組方式進行討論與練習書寫。 |
| 第13堂 | Continue6 We will always mix in team building exercises and improv games which will make things more fun, less stressful… and will continue to build an ensemble atmosphere. 透過團隊即興遊戲，以無壓力的方式練習英文書寫。 |
| 第14堂 | Show & Tell Students and instructor bring in work of writers they like; these are performed around and discussed as described above. 1.學員與教師各自分享自己喜歡的作家與作品，可以是散文、一篇故事、詩。 2.針對分享的內容，教師協助引導從英文書寫角度一同討論書寫架構、文法與其他習慣用法。 |
| 第15堂 | Team work5 We resume work on student projects with team feedback and selective instruction on grammar and usage. 從學員練習的作業，討論與建構正確的文法結構與使用方法。 |
| 第16堂 | Team work6 Reading and discussion continues; mixed with grammar clarifications. Also mixed with improv games and exercises. 1.分享練習的書寫內容，教師依據書寫狀況，進行反饋。 2.從學員的練習作業中討論與建構正確的文法結構與使用方法。 |
| 第17堂 | Performances1 Students will perform for the full class all or a portion of one or more of their writing projects that they played and worked with over the weeks of the workshop. 學員成果發表：學員各自分享這期課程的所有寫過的書寫作業；彼此給予回饋。 |
| 第18堂 | Performances2 Continue as above; Group discussion about the workshop; appreciation— how did students see other students grow during the workshop; concluding with favorite improv games! 學員成果發表：學員各自分享這期課程的所有寫過的書寫作業；彼此給予回饋。 |
