| 課程目標 | Our focus will be on the collective creativity of the group! Working on one large canvas for the whole workshop, week by week we will progress from ideas, to black and white sketches in charcoal or ink, to color washes and saturated color using both pastels and acrylic paint. Students will learn various media and work with a variety of tools including non-traditional ones. Collage may also be used By the 18th class we will have painted Our Masterpiece! |

Instructor will brie;ly present the 18-week plan;then we“meet”;irst master,Georgette Chen;study and discuss several of her works; instructor will locate this artist’s work in broader history of art; introduction of tools and media;second hour will be opportunity for students to begin painting with black washes, experimenting and imitating our ;irst master painter. |
